Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are currently only available at Downtown Aquarium - Denver only.

The Deep Blue Sea Foundation is a non-profit organization with more than 250 volunteers. The Downtown Aquarium benefits from this culturally diverse and dedicated group of people.

As a Deep Blue Sea Volunteer you can share information with our guests as an interpretive guide; help out the biology staff by working as an aquarist, animal care or horticulture assistant; or work inside the exhibit as a diver.

Recruitment is year round. Volunteers make a weekly four-hour commitment for a minimum of six months. Volunteer opportunities are generally available during the day, as well as evenings, seven days a week for people 17 years or older.

Join our team by contacting our volunteer coordinator at 303-561-4413
